Hi mcg89,

When you purchased the book "Advertising Profits from Home" you also shoudl have received a web link of where to go to signup for your affiliate web sites. One web site requires you to log in with the account information you recieved during the registration process. This is the site were you will find the trainign vidoes I mentioned. The other site is your 'public' web site.

If you didn't get the registration info you can call technical support and ask them for the web registration address by calling 1-866-520-7289.

Where do I find the info in how I will get paid on my website, is was suggested by anthony to make a list of things on site I am interested In, done that! Then he suggested I find out how I would get paid for the thing on my list. But where do I find that info? Thank you mcg89

Log in to your affiliate 'My Account' site.

Under the "My Account Navigation" click on "Commission Payments".

It would be good for you if you went through every navigation link so that you know what is where.

You will also find links to check how many clisks you are getting.
How much each offer pays and what type of offer it is.

You will also find the "Getting Started", "How to..." and Marketing vidoes.

Explor your account, you won't break it, your not going to 'mess yourself up' doing so.

Anthony, I see no communication to solve the problem of how to set up or edit the Landing Page except for one guru offering his services for a fee. You discuss this many times, yet there seems to be no information on How To either in your books or in your audio or video clips. Please address this issue. Am I correct to assume the Landing Page is the page you first go to when clicking the links on the Deals Mall subcatagory, such as Toys, and before the customer clicks into the actual link to a specific store's site or page.

The pages are really plain and I would like to spif it up a little and put in a little verbage of my own to introduce the various sites and their wares. Do I need FrontPage or other application to do this?

You might be referring to the free affiliate offers web site that you receive when you purchase "Advertising Profits from Home". As best I know the only modifications availalble are to chose a theme for your site from a list of templates and to change the color of the text used on the pages. You can't even set a logo for your site. I was told by tech support AffiliateSystem.us that this would be changing and the abiliaty to do more customizations is in the works but so far I haven't seem these changes. So you would not be able to use FrontPage to edit you affiliate offers page.

Although that can be considered a landing page, it is a less than ideal landing page because it has so many differnet offers for the potential customer to choose from. A landing page is the last attempt to target traffic to a particular affiliate offer and should be very clear and transparent to the prospect as to what they will be purchasing as well as all the reasons why they should want to make the purchase.

A landing page is the web page(s) you would use, directing traffice (web surfers) to from blogs, articles, videos, etc. The blogs, articles, videos and etc all point to the landing page. On the landing page is where you would use to convince/persuade the customer to purchase the affiliate offer being targeted.

It might be helpful for you to know what Google has to say about landing pages.

A blog page on blogger.com or wordpress.com could be used as a landing page, as well as a web page on your own website. x10hosting.com offers free web site hosting. I would also recommend the free web page authoring program HTML-Kit for creating your web page(s).

About 2 videos ago, Anthony said the ability to edit your landing pages feature would be ready then. Before he said that, I was able to choose the different templates. I will contact Anthony Morrison with the question. Thanks for the tip about free web hosting.
