I just want to take a second here to welcome all of you to the Affiliate Marketing forum of our online community. In this forum we want to discuss affiliate marketing AND only affiliate marketing. This isn't the place to discuss PPC, CPM, or anything outside of this topic. I really want to keep this place clean and easy to navigate. That way if you have questions you know exactly where to go to find answers.

Topics here should include:

1. Hot affiliate marketing offers
2. Offers you've had success with
3. General information about affiliate marketing
4. Information about affiliate networks
5. Information about payouts and structure of payouts like CPA, CPL, CPS etc
6. Landing page design strategies
7. Direct Linking strategies
8. Platforms by you can/have advertised and seen success

Basically anything to do with affiliate marketing. We aren't too strict here... but we do have other forums to discuss exact PPC and CPM strategies and techniques.

I will be posting my own information here simply to help guide you in the right direction and educate you on the industry as a whole. So look for new posts from me coming sometime very soon!

I am new to the website, which I had hoped would include links for affiliate sales for big names like WalMart, Target, Best Buy, etc. This is what I want to start marketing. I need help here! lcnelson@hotmail.com

To become a affiliate of Walmart you can go to google.com and type in Walmart Affiliate Program. I am still researching the others but I believe it will probably be the same process.

If you go to Affiliate Programs - LinkShare you can find links to apply for . You'll find Wal-Mart and anything you want.

Yep but you don't get a website, training, support or software

But your right.... you can get access to a lot of affiliate programs online.

hey wjt i am looking towards starting this myself and appreciate your input, it seems you are making money, right? maybe not what you hoped for but as I hear from others who havent made a dime, your kinda proof it can work. Maybe you should try some different strategies im sure there are tons right, at least youve made a little and who knows how much you can gain from time and patience. thats just my thoughts right now, I truly believe in it if I could only get through to support and get a push in the right direction.

I've noticed that in order to sign up with CJ, I am required to list a website domain. Without having to establish my own website, blog, landing page, etc., can we use the website address/domain you've provided for us? I would like to be able to do this initially; at least until I set up my own website and/or landing page.

I have made it in to 3 major search engines Bing , Yahoo , Google what does this mean to me as an affiliate marketer ?
I type my web url and i'm on top and i have no idea how this happened .
