FROM THE TRENCHES
Here I am about to embark into "Internet Affiliate Marketing" with the confidence to build a successful affiliate marketing business with very little money to spend at this time, and determined not to let my current financial situation slow me down or cause me to become un-motivated.
You are invited to follow along and even put you two-cents in whenever you want.
I will report from the trenches as I go along....slow,steady,and dedicated.

Doing New Things
Posted 01-28-2010 at 10:34 AM by Bob_Sims
Well I took the plunge and stepped out of my comfort zone.
I recorded a video,edited it,and mailed it off as a video testimonial.
This was a big step forward for me as I am not a very good public speaker,
let alone recording video testimonials.
The knowledge that I gained by doing this one thing is of great value to me now and will be in the future.
Looks like this Affiliate Marketing venture is bringing out the best in me.
Excuse me now while I step up on my soap box.......
Ok. What I want to say is that you don't need a wad of money,or be Tech Savvy,
to do new things. - I am proof that even an old dog can learn new tricks
I am certainly not on any "fast-track" to fame and fortune, but I am truely learning
what I need to do to be a success in this Affiliate Marketing venture.
Nice part is that I am doing it in the comfort of my home, and no longer fear
stepping out any comfort zone.
Some time ago I came across 4 major facts of "Doing New Things" - here they are......
1. You don't know what you don't know.
2. When you open your eyes you'll discover things you didn't know.
3. When "Doing New Things" you feel odd doing them as you are not very good at it. You may even struggle with them.
4. There will come a time when you master a new thing and you will do it naturally.

Analyze Your Comfort Zone
The Comfort Zone is our living, work, and social environments that we have grown accustom too. It determines the type of friends we make or people we associate with. It determines a life style we accept or reject.

I had a friend teach me how to use the video camera on my laptop. My first attempt...I just started laughing uncontrollably...it's really funny. But since I was so affected by people's videos online...I thought I better learn how to do it myself. Good luck.Posted 01-29-2010 at 09:22 AM by AidforCongoKids

Thanks for your comment
It is indeed funny at times when you play back what you recordQuote:
I have to admit that I was hesitant to send the video in as a testimonial, but hey , what I had to say was the truth.
Now I have a good feel for doing it.Posted 01-29-2010 at 02:54 PM by Bob_Sims
