FROM THE TRENCHES
Here I am about to embark into "Internet Affiliate Marketing" with the confidence to build a successful affiliate marketing business with very little money to spend at this time, and determined not to let my current financial situation slow me down or cause me to become un-motivated.
You are invited to follow along and even put you two-cents in whenever you want.
I will report from the trenches as I go along....slow,steady,and dedicated.

Landing Page Profits

Moving on to the next thing after we realize that prospects will click on links that interest them,as we ourselves do,we now need to come to terms with the fact that we ourselves don't really know the needs of any one particular prospects.
A prospect has arrive at your landing page because they have not yet made a decision as to what they want to do.
It is now your job to inform them that they have indeed come to the right place and you have what they need, and how it benefits them.
What can you offer them,or tell them that makes your offer unique.
It is an ongoing process to generate traffic, and to establish your internet presense.
In the marketing attempt to drive traffic to your offer - a very important aspect that is overlooked is.....Its not about you driving tons and tons of traffic to your targeted offer, its about making the most profit (ROI) from your efforts.
I know you,or someone you may of heard of, that has not made a penny from a large amount of traffic. But then again there are marketers who understand how the traffic thing works, and are doing well for themselves.
From what I have come to learn is that a Good PPC,CPA,etc, that is directed to a poor offer, can only lead to poor results,or even no results.
In other words an offer that receives tons of traffic will not necessarily make a ton of conversions, which brings us to the subject of this topic - our landing page, squeeze page, etc.
What is needed here, first and foremost,is that the content be relevant to what brought the traffic, what benefit the prospect will receive from your offer(no hype),and this all must be linked in to where or what you want the prospect to do.
Lets face it - Your goal is to have the traffic you receive take the action you want them to take.....The truth be told. Its a numbers game, and more traffic to your offer, could mean more profit for you. "ONLY IF YOUR LANDING PAGE PLAN" is set up ahead of time to provide relevant and beneficial content for your prospects.
Its a waste of time and resources to drive traffic to your offer until you have this in place.

We are Fishermen, not Hunters. We have to know our target(fish type) and what they feed on. Then that's the bait. What are the fish biting and when are they feeding?
What causes them to school?
What drives them to shallow water or keeps them deep?Posted 03-26-2010 at 09:46 PM by mlrhodes
