Social Network Marketing

I am really interested in using this approach to promote offers. I am confused about something. When you advertise on these type of sites, are you promoting a specific offer or your website? Let me be more specific. I have checked out several Affiliate programs and found quite a few offers that interest me. They provide my affiliate link to the offer and the Creatives (banners, etc.). If I try to promote their products on these sites, do I link to my website, or to my affiliate link to the Advertisers webpage? Can I use their banners on the Social Networks? As you can see, I am really confused.

    I am confused also, I want to talk about my new business without spamming, I have seen web sites posted yet I am still leary about what to do. I would also like to promote off my web site, and the web site it self, along with a sound business. Waiting to hear from others before I move forward.

    You both have great questions and let me see if I can clear up the mud for you. It sounds like your asking how do you advertise a product you have found? Do you do it via your website? or Do you advertise their website?

    Answer: There are two ways to advertising an offer. The first is a squeeze page the second is direct linking

    Squeeze Page: This is where you will take the creative from the company and build a page on your site, you will then link your site to their site where the visitors will then buy the product. This is great for offering directions and steps to your visitors so they know exactly what do to. You would then promote the specific page the product is. so for example if the offer was for weight-loss and your website was ipmarketing.com you would end up with a page like: ipmarketing.com - Welcome to ipmarketing.com would you promote this page rather then your home page so people find exactly what they are looking for

    Direct linking: Where available you would create advertisements on Face book for example that when a visitor clicks on your ad they go directly to the affiliate website where they can get the offer. This is fast and easy and should only be done on a page where you feel that they do a good job of telling visitors what to do.
