Hi I'm Holymaud and I want my share of the pie. I've read Hidden Millionaire, and Advertising Profits from home with in two weeks . I must say they are very concise, informative and are must reads. After ordering and reading the books in January 2010; I wasted no time in implementing Anthony's Techniques.

I must say that for such a young person ( a rich one at that ), Anthony is humble and has lots of wisdom. In addition to the books, I have watched the training videos and read the blogs at getadeal.us. These blogs provided me with valuable information. When I'm not blogging, I'm setting up Ads on Face book, Adbrite. It is work which I believe will pay off in the end. Like Anthony says, lay the foundation. The money will not come rolling in, right way and will not come if the necessary work is not done.

I know Rome wasn't been in a day and that its not going to happen overnight but it will happen so I hang in there and blog, write ads and set up sites. I was so excited when I put up my first site and saw that people actually clicked those ads. That made me happy because even though the Ads did not generate anything; i can rest assured that it's catching attention and its just a matter of time.

Thank God for Anthony, his kind heart, brilliance, and the family who nurtured and reared him to become the type of caring person that he is. I've bought other programs out there and they do not come close to Anthony's neither do they care the way Anthony does for his customers.

Anthony is not another rich kid who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He experienced hard ships, overcame them and that gives me hope that I too can make it just like Anthony did. As a kid, he could have had a pity party, sit around and complain or make excuses; but he did not. He set out to work and his hard work paid off.

PPC Advertisers have been giving pay per click advertising grave review going as far as producing checks to substantiate their claim about the effectiveness and profitability of pay per click advertising. After using pay per click for about two months and generating costly clicks that do not generate sales nor leads; I am beginning to wonder whether pay per click advertising is all a hype that's expensive or whether it's just fraudulent.

I did my homework , by visiting the landing pages where I was able to gather enough information about the product that I intended to advertise. After, I get a picture that relates to the product, find some keywords, and write a creative ad that corresponds to the product offering. Then, I head over to Face book and Adbrite to set up my ads. The clicks comes in and that makes me happy. Who would not be happy to see that one ad generates 221 clicks? After all, some of these clicks are likely to generate leads or sales; but when Adbrite says that my ad generated 221 clicks and Face book tells me ,my ad generated 63 and the report at affiliates says zero clicks for one product ad that I promoted I get concerned.

The fact that clicks were generated shows that some prospects were interested and not merely curious.
So I contact support to find out why the report states, no clicks on their site and the reply is when people get to the landing pages they do not click the go now button. So, what do I do? I pause my ads because,I figure it's not my fault. I did my part which was get people to the landing pages. I lost time, effort, and money and get really pissed. Who would not get frustrated? After promoting several products that accrue cost, but do not generate anything on the landing pages makes me mad. "Experience is a great teacher" and I don't mean to scare anyone but for now, I will stay away from per pay click advertising. Maybe its not for me.

When you refer to landing pages do you mean pages that you have created ?

I realize that what the support staff says maybe correct but perhaps they should have explained that you do not have to send prospects to your getadeal.us landing page.

In my humble opinion (IMHO) there is too much on that page for it to be effective. My suggestion is that you use the page as a source to obtain the link information that you need to get to but in your posts so that the prospects go to the offer page instead of your getadeal.us landing page.

I do not consider the getadeal.us and dealscenter.us to be landing pages. A REAL landing page should help to qualify the prospects so that only the people with a desire for the product go past the landing page. And since the getadeal.us and dealscenter.us have all affiliate offers on them I feel it is way too distracting to be used as a landing page. Your prospects will see this and either think "What a mess", "What am I supposed to do here?" or "Oh, it's just somebody else trying to make a buck of of me!" and they will most likely go away!!!!!

If you want to send your prospects (I call them "your's" because you have put in the effort to get them, out of the 1.8 billion internet users, to this point) directly to the offer page I will explain how to to that.

You want to use the same link information as what your prospects would click on, only you want to place this hyper-link information in your posts or ads. I do not mean the words "Go Now", I mean the hyper-link information connected to the words "Go Now".

To obtain the link information, go to your affiliate offers public page, select an offer from the drop-down text box, let's say the "Acai Berry Blast". The page will update and the offer appears on the page. There will be a "Go Now" call-to-action link. If you are using a "Windows" computer right-click on the link and on the context menu that appears click on either "copy link" or "copy shortcut", if using Apple/Mac hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys then click on the "Go Now" link and then click on 'copy shortcut'.

Next open a plain text editor (NOT a word processor) such as Windows Notepad this is done by clicking on the "Start" button then "All Programs" or "Programs", then "Accessories" then click on "Notepad". Click in the editing part of the Notepad window then on the "Edit" menu click on "Paste".

Now the link that is used to send prospects to the "Acai Berry Blast" is in your plain text editor. This is the link you want to use to send prospects to the "Acai Berry Blast" offer page.

When you obtain the link properly you should see the number of clicks on your "Click Report" increment by one.

How to view your "Click Report" -
Go to your Affiliate "My Account" page such as "http://www.affiliatesystem.us/myaccount/" and login.

Next, in the left side column under the section labeled "My Account Navigation" click on "My Reports/Charts" this will expand downwards, click on "Reports", Under "My Reports" click on "Click Count Report".

Now to focus in on just the "Acai Barry Blast" clicks for today -
From the "Offer" multi-line textbox click on "Acai Berry Blast", leave the "Time Period" set to "Today" and click the "Show Report" button.

Take note of the number of clicks.

Open up the page or ad where you have posted the link in a different web browser window. The link that you obtained above and click on it.

Got back to the web browser window with the click report and "refresh" the page by clicking in the page, but do not click on any links on the page then press the function key labeled "F5", or you can click the refresh button on the tool bar.

Did the click count report increment by at least one? If not then you did not get the correct link information and in which case the click WILL NOT be properly reported and if a sale is made you WILL NOT get any commission for it.

I have personally verified this process many times and the click ALWAYS show up immediatly, not hours or days later. They have always showed up immediatley and I would expect it to NEVER take more than a minute or two unless the affiliate web site is down, in which case you will not be able to login to your affiliate account or get to your "Click Count Report".

    Hope this helps!

    Hi HolyMaud,

I like the way you integrated the links into your post. This is one of the skills neede in Internet Marketing (IM). A few thigns I noticed when following your links are you up for some well intended critique?

You linked "pay per click advertsing" to Work, Career Jobs's Blog. If I were looking on information about getting a job thsi would be good but the link was for "pay per click advertsing" and when I followed the link I would expect information on "pay per click advertising". However I do see were elertgadget.com might be a benefit to Internet Marketing.

Also "clicks" was linked to job related information.

I am just trying to point out that web surfers want to follow links that are relative to their needs and wants and fullfillinf that need or want is what gets the sale.

    Broken link - http://pageantchild.com/dresses.php

The page aboutanything - Save Money -Ingenious Living has a missing graphic right at the very top. When I am surfing and come across pages like this it causes me to doubt the professionalism of the pages author and then I have doubts about what information I might get from them and I tend to look elsewhere to full fill my need or desire for information.
