im trying very hard to get this off the ground. i get it that my website is full of products that i can write ads for. i just cant figure out how to start the process. where do you go to pick an item to advertise? i dont see anything on my website to click on to pick the products i want. help. thank you for any advice.

    First the short answer:

    You need to go to your adffiliate web site, not your 'My Account' web site and select a product.

    Then go to your 'My Account' web site. Click on the "Campaigns" tab. In the search boc on the "Campaings" page type part of the name of the offer you are interested in promoting.

    Click on the campaign in the search results.

    The URL in the "Tracking Link" text box is the URL you need to use to promote you product, but since this URL redirects to the vendor some sites will not allow you to use it such as Google. On Google you would need to use the offers landing page on your affiliate web site.

    You can find this link by going to your affiliate web site and click on the offer you want to promot in the drop down text box. The URL, web address, that appears in your browsers address bar is the URL for the selected products landing page.

    Now for the long answer:

    What you need to do instead is:
    Read the book "Advertising Profits from Home"
    Read the book "Hidden Millionaire" if you purchased that as well.
    Register for you affiliate web site, you will actually get two web sites
    Web site one is the web site you use to promote the affiliate offers
    Web site two is your "My Account" web site which
    displays information about the affiliate offers you can promote.
    New offers
    Offers that have been removed
    The daily unique clicks each of you offers get.
    Has LOTS of traing videos to watch and recorded teleconference calls to listen to

    Do not spend even a penny on anything related to Affiliate/Internet Marketing until you have watched all the videos and listened to the all the teleconference recordings as many times as it takes to get a very firm understanding of this business!

    After you have done this then, without spending any money for advertising, start to promote at least one product but no more than a few products using Article Writing, Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, free classified ads.

    You will need to do research on the products you select to promote so that you have something to say about them, writing articles, blogging, tweeting.

    After you have reached this point then start doing your own research on article directories, article writing, article spinning, blogs, blog sites, social networking, micro blogging.

    Then if you want more training purchase the "Mastery Level Education" (I think it as $200) and then also purchase the monthly subscription to the MasteryEdu.com website (I think it was $35/month). I shouldn't take you more than one month to read and watch all the training on the masteryEdu.com web site. Then when you think you have learned enough from "MasteryEdu.com" for now call them up and cancel the subscription or keep the subscription and EVERY month read/listen to the new content. I am certain that you will need to watch/listen/read many of these videos more than once to get a firm understanding of what they are talking about.

    If you do any internet research for anything related to Affiliate or Internet Marketing I guarantee that you will come across hundreds of affiliate marketeers that WILL TRY TO SELL you something! Most offer some "Free" information before trying to sell you something. Take the "Free" and walk away!

    Search article directories for articles on specifics of Affiliate/Internet marketing. There is a lot of free information, not all of it good, but since you not paying for it your out nothing.

    If you have done all that I said above then you probably will not be interested in purchasing yet another affiliate program and you will see that you are able to learn Affiliate/Internet Marketing without spending thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. Nearly all say their program will get you the big bucks, but remember that is sales hype!

    You need to set a path of learning BEFORE any DOING and stick to that path until it is finished. Affiliate/Internet Marketing is not like any other job field. You MUST retrain yourself before you can succeed in any new career field and that includes this one!

    Before you spend any money on ads for Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. keep in mind that most if not all of these advertising platforms have even MORE FREE TRAINING! There are documents to read and videos to watch. Google has a ton of help. Each advertising platform also has it's own set of rules. Learn what these rules are so that you will not get banned from their site.
