Where in Mississippi did you live? I spent a couple years in Boloxi and loved it. Yes, it was humid, but I loved the Spanish Moss, plantations, wetlands, and I'll never get over how far you could wade out into the gulf! Gigging for Flounder at night was fun, and New Orleans was a gas! Didn't care for the racism but that was back in the 60's. Hopefully that's changed since then. I would love to go back and visit again.

None here now.... not where I live.... it's just like everywhere else.... MS is a great place to live! Biloxi is a great place to visit!!!

Great great great internet site this FORUM is. So much great stuff on here. I think I like the people the most. It is so interesting to hear about people talk about the state they live in. I live in Minnesota. Great place to fish, hunt, good city life in Mpls-St.Paul too. I do long for mountains of Tennessee at times. I like it when you get different weather. I lived in Los Angeles, California and the weather was great everyday, but when I looked out I always thought it was going to rain, the SMOG made it look like rain clouds to me.

I think the ski slopes of Colorado are fantastic too. Except when driving down the mountain into Denver on the windy roads that go straight down, in a blustery snow storm. And then trying to beat the storm accross Nebraska.

Yes I think every state has its beauty to be taken in. So much of life is a frame of mind. You can be bored anywhere, or you can have the time of your life anywhere it really is up to you.
