Hey team,

If you are looking to create your own online "store" then you probably need some sort of shopping cart software (this is the stuff that shows the products, processes the orders etc) so I created this forum so you can all help each other with this kinda stuff. I personally think the Yahoo! shopping cart software rocks!

I'm still designing my store and noticed they incorporated an affiliate signup within 3dcart.
I guess this means I can have others sell for me for a piece of the pie. Of course this is an option.

After attending months of Anthony's seminars it seems that every mentor made the bulk of their income from e-commerce. Of course e-commerce means customer service and a host of other customer contact requirements that I'd rather avoid.

I also attended a company called ShopsOnline seminar and they have their own software. They had one feature that interested me: the ability to instantly connect with suppliers to show current inventory levels. I thought that would be a reason to use them. Does other shopping cart software offer this feature?

Just curious in case I venture into e-commerce.

Well I used to check “2CheckOut.com” as well. If in case I needed some extra options then straight away stick with google or any other business forums.

I have used Zen-Cart, which is a remake of e-commerce. It is a free download with a great forum to answer any questions that you may have. Being that it is free, they do appreciate a donation and it is worth anything you can donate, as the team works endlessly. There are also numerous plug-ins the expand the functionality. Just make sure the plug-in is up to date with the version that you are using.
